John Tousley

John Tousley, CFA, is the global head of the Market Strategy team in Strategic Advisory Solutions. In his role, he focuses on global capital markets research, macro strategy, and implementation. Previously, John was a senior strategist within the Goldman Sachs Asset Management Retail Distribution Portfolio Strategy Group, where he co-led a team of specialists focused on economic and market strategy as well as client engagement on advanced portfolio construction and implementation issues. Before that, he was a member of the Goldman Sachs Asset Management Fixed Income Portfolio Management team with a specific focus on multi-sector, municipal and short duration fixed income strategy. John joined Goldman Sachs in 2000 and was named managing director in 2011. He earned a BA in Economics from Brigham Young University in 1991.
